See the List: Top Ten Wealthiest African musicians




When Forbes and Channel O teamed up and came through with the top ten list of wealthiest musicians in Africa, using various parameters such as endorsement value, popularity, show rates, sales, awards, YouTube views, appearance in newspapers, investment, social media presence, influence and so many other factors, it sparked a massive frenzy as to how they got it spot on.

 Now, an African online magazine known as Answers Africa has done its own findings, using pretty much the same parameters as Forbes, Channel O and they came up with this:

There’s been a lot of media excitement Friday over a palace announcement that new photos — not just one, but three — marking Prince George’s first birthday will be released starting Saturday.

No idea what they look like (and if you break the media embargo, it’s off with your head!), but they sound pretty cute, as with all things George. They were taken earlier this month at the Natural History Museum in London when Prince William and Duchess Kate took their son to see the outdoor Sensational Butterflies exhibit.

USA TODAY: James Garner, star of TV and film, dies at 86

Actor James Garner, whose genial charm and sly humor made him a Hollywood fixture for more than 50 years, has died at 86.

The Los Angeles Times and the Associated Press reported his death, citing Los Angeles Police. Tall and handsome, Garner had the leading man looks that led to roles in big screen dramas ranging from 1958's Darby's Rangers to 1963's The Great Escape. But his flair for light comedy earned him several starring film roles, and extended to the small screen as well, with series hits Maverick and The Rockford Files.

How Nigeria Can Win The World Cup Using Technology


 Like millions of football fans worldwide, after watching Germany defeat Argentina 1-0 in extra time to win the World Cup in Brazil, both finalists are being applauded and non-nationals of Germany are left to rue ‘What could have been’ for their individual countries.

Nigeria had a respectable showing at the World Cup. However, the general consensus that we can do better. For Nigerians, the following questions arise:

1)Can Nigeria ever win the world cup?
2)If we can, what do we need to do?

Adebayo Ogunlesi a Nigerian: New Owner Of Gatwick Airport London

A Nigerian, Adebayo Ogunlesi, has acquired the London Gatwick Airport as the new owner. The Gatwick deal is a £1.455 billion agreement with BAA Airports Limited. Adebayo Ogunlesi, 56, is the chairman and managing partner, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), an independent investment fund based in New York City with worldwide stake in infrastructure assets,is the new owner of the London Gatwick Airport. Ogunlesi attended the prestigious King’s College, Lagos.
