Pictures of this humanlike “fallen angel” has been making its rounds in
the internet. The pictures seemed so realistic that many netizens and
people across the globe believed it to be true.
The angel’s wings, unlike what we see in movies, were not covered in
feathers but looked like bare skin. The “angel” seemed lifeless and old,
having white hair and a white robe. At first glance, you would think
that it was real—but it isn’t. It is not a prank, but a piece of art so
realistic it has fooled many people.
The people responsible for this viral art, are Beijing artists Sun Yuan
and Peng Yu who have been known to create installations using real
cadavers or human fat tissue. Their new creation though, does not use
those parts but looks as real as any cadaver would! It was actually made
from silica gel, fibreglass, stainless steel, and woven mesh.
This piece of art entitled “Angel” shows a fallen angel whose feathers
from her wings have already withered away. With her eyes closed, many
would think that it was shown to look dead or asleep.
According to the artists, the said “angel” was first unveiled in 2008Source: Facebook(jimmy.ollie.9), Sunyuanpengyu
