Chelsea FC of
England owner, Roman Abramovich, could as well pass for trying to raise his own
11-man football team as the Russian billionaire became a father for the seventh
time when his girlfriend gave birth to a daughter in a New York hospital.
The latest
addition to the Abramovich dynasty comes from the billionaire’s socialite
girlfriend, Dasha Zhukova, who back in December 2009 had the first child for
the Chelsea owner christened Aaron Alexander Abramovich.
Abramovich,
ranked by Forbes magazine as the 50th richest person in the world, already has
five children: two sons and three daughters with his second wife Irina
Malandina.
An insider
confirmed to the Daily Mail that Abramovich was physically present by his
girlfriend’s bedside at the time of the baby’s delivery. “Mother and daughter
are doing fine. Roman is, of course, delighted,” the source added.
With the
Premier League title now out of sight and Sunday’s FA CUP ouster of his darling
team, Chelsea, Abramovich will be hoping to celebrate the arrival of his
daughter with the Europa League title which Chelsea are well positioned to win
having been handed underdogs FC Bassel in the semi final.
